Background:

What is courage? Courage is something that everybody wants. It is an attribute of good character that makes us worthy of respect. Our culture is rich with exemplary tales of bravery and self-sacrifice for the greater good. Yet courage is not just physical bravery. Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela, who chose to speak out against injustice at great personal risk.
Lenora Sneva will lead a panel of Business Resource Group & ICSEW leaders to discuss what courage looks like in state employment.

Lenora Sneva serves as the organization strategy and performance director for the Office of Financial Management. In this role she collaborates and advises leaders and staff on how to strategically plan, communicate priorities and changes. She serves as OFM’s Equity Officer for the PEAR work and is an advisor for the OFM DEI Council. In addition, she is a co-lead for the BUILD Membership and Engagement Sub-committee.  Lenora has worked for the state of Washington for 11 years and holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington.  Her free time is consumed with family, shuffling her teen daughters to competitive volleyball practices and tournaments and her new thing that she is making a habit – exercising
